Problem:
The adhesive backing of the strip cannot maintain long‑term strong adhesion, especially on damp, high‑temperature, or uneven surfaces. After a period of use, parts or the entire strip may lift or fall off.
Solutions:
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with alcohol before pasting to ensure it is free of oil, dust, and dirt.
- In dry indoor environments, you may additionally use neutral silicone sealant or high‑tack double‑sided tape.
- For outdoor, damp, or load‑bearing scenarios, mechanical fixing must be used: dedicated clips, aluminium alloy mounting channels, screw fixing, etc.
- After pasting, press firmly for more than 30 seconds, or preheat the adhesive backing with a hairdryer before applying.
Optimized Layout Methods:
For locations such as ceilings and corners, install aluminium alloy tracks in advance. The strip is embedded into the track, ensuring secure fixing without relying on adhesive.
If the substrate is uneven, first level it with a wood board or mounting frame before securing the strip.
In moisture‑prone areas (e.g., kitchens and bathrooms), place the driver and connectors inside sealed enclosures, and fix the strip itself to a dry side surface using clips.
